2016, I leave with the same grateful heart I began the year with. 2017, I bring that gratitude with me as God continues the good work He has begun in me. #ButGod
Because …. Your future is so bright you have to wear shades! Happy last Friday my friends ~ XOXO Chante
My go to scripture and prayer …
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalms 23 NIV
Happy Sunday! XOXO – Chante 💜
“Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.” ~Proverbs 31:30
This bible verse is one of my favorite. It brings alive and puts in perspective the weight of outward graces and what really constitutes a principled woman. When I think about what it means to live in the fear of God, it goes beyond merely having respect and reverence, but rests on what I call a heart that yearns to please God, notwithstanding imperfections. This desire to please God motivates me to seek God’s answers for daily living. Sometimes it can be a challenge especially in the world in which we live today. The road less traveled is not the trending #hashtag.
But, woman-to-be-admired, you are set apart – different and unique! Woman-to-be-admired, remain encouraged and continue to let your light shine! Your virtue, love for, and obedience to God are your crowning jewels! Rest on this! XOXO – Chante💜 #ButGod
